Article 1: Regarding Rental Service Users

By submitting a provisional reservation request through the calendar on this website, the user is deemed to have commenced use of the rental service. Rental use is granted exclusively to the individual named in the provisional reservation; the user may not lend or transfer their rental rights to any third party without prior notification and approval from the service provider. Even if the other party is a friend or relative, sharing without prior notification to and approval from the service provider is not permitted. Furthermore, the rental period is limited strictly to the reserved time on the scheduled event day. Should the service provider determine that cancellation of the rental use is necessary in accordance with these Terms, the rental service may be suspended indefinitely without limitation.

Article 2: Prohibited Actions Regarding Service Use

This service provides a complete set of kimono and necessary accessories for wearing it. Users are strictly prohibited from unilaterally changing, exchanging, losing, disposing of, or otherwise altering any of the items lent by the service. All items must be returned as they were lent.In the event of loss, significant damage, or soiling, users are required to return the affected items and compensate for restoration or replacement costs based on current market prices.

Additionally, adherence to the designated return time is mandatory at the time of lending.

Article 3: Regarding Troubles During Use

This service includes free time for activities such as walking around town while wearing the kimono; however, the service provider assumes no responsibility for any accidents, troubles, or injuries (including falls caused by wearing the kimono) that occur during transit or at destinations. The service provider also does not provide coverage for any costs related to resolving such incidents or for medical treatment.

While changing clothes within the studio, users must follow staff instructions and act with the utmost care. Assistance may be provided upon the user's request, but the service provider assumes no liability for any injuries or accidents that occur during such assistance.

When going out, the user's own clothes will be stored and kept safely, but must be placed by the user themselves into a designated box. The service provider will not open this box. The service provider assumes no responsibility for any loss of these items; therefore, valuables should be kept with the user during outings.

Article 4: Regarding Fees

Due to the preparatory work required, this service operates on a prepaid basis only. Although there may be slight variations in the condition of the kimonos, a uniform fee is charged as compensation for the entire rental service. Payments are made via a payment link issued by the service. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, contracted by Idea Punch Inc., and no information regarding the user's payment methods is disclosed to the service provider.

Any additional fees incurred in accordance with the service's regulations shall also be paid using the same method.

Article 5: Regarding Cancellations

Users may cancel their reservation with the service for personal reasons. Please notify the service in advance when canceling. If notice is received at least 31 days before the event date (Japan Standard Time), a full refund will be issued. If cancellation is made within 30 days of the event, a cancellation fee will be deducted from the refund. Please contact the service via the email address used for the reservation.

No refunds will be provided for no-shows on the event day without prior notice. Additionally, if severe weather is forecasted on the event date, the event may be canceled. In such cases, notification will be sent via email 1 to 3 days before the event, and 90% of the fee will be refunded.

Article 6: Disclaimer

In addition to what is stated in Article 3, the service provider cannot be held responsible for any delays or inability to fulfill all or part of the contract due to circumstances beyond anyone's control. This includes, but is not limited to, natural disasters, war, civil unrest, riots, changes or enactment of laws, orders from public authorities, major fluctuations in currency exchange rates, and other unforeseen events.

Article 7: Damages

Users are prohibited from subleasing or lending the kimono rented through this service to other parties. If there is evidence of deliberate damage or significant soiling of the rented items, the service provider will promptly file a damage report with the nearest police station.

Additionally, any actions that interfere with the smooth operation of the service may result in appropriate legal measures being taken.

The service provider reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use at any time by providing prior notice within a reasonable period. Once the notice period has elapsed, the revised terms shall apply.

Article 8: Basic Policy

This service (hereinafter referred to as "kimono tsumugi studio.com") is a website operated by Idea Punch Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company"). As a company primarily engaged in website content planning, production, and operation, the Company recognizes the utmost importance of information protection. The Company takes care to protect confidential information and pre-release data obtained during business operations by entering into confidentiality and information provision agreements in advance with customers and employees (including external staff). Furthermore, all data transmitted to and from the website is encrypted using SSL.

Article 9: Personal Information

For the purposes of these Terms, “personal information” includes the user's name, email address, age, height, weight, foot size received at the time of reservation, as well as address, date of birth, and other details recorded on the identification documents presented.

Users may be required to present identification either on the day of the service or during prior communication. A copy of the ID may be taken via photography or scanning. This copy will be promptly deleted once the return of the rented items has been confirmed. The data will never be used for advertising, PR, or provided to any third parties.

To ensure security, the copy will not be stored on cloud services or any networked system. Instead, it will be kept only on physical storage media attached to a smartphone and within the company's local environment to prevent leaks or data breaches.

Article 10: Use of Social Media

For promotional purposes, with the user's consent, the service and the Company may post photos of the user wearing a kimono on their official social media accounts. Posts will only be made with prior approval; however, requests for removal after posting may not always be accommodated.

Even if the post is deleted from the official account, the service cannot guarantee removal of the image from all locations on the internet and assumes no responsibility in that regard.

While all personal information of users is kept strictly confidential, the photos posted and the content visible within them are not subject to this confidentiality obligation.

Article 11: Use of Social Media
